David is president of the GrowthSpring Group—a strategic
growth and marketing innovation firm that helps clients accelerate sales and
profit growth by identifying and leveraging new business insights,
opportunities, winning strategies and plans.
As a marketing leader with with both consumer products and retail experience, David has
used his leadership and creativity to build develop industry best practices,
launch innovative new products and breakthrough marketing programs that build
sales, profits and market share. He has
worked directly with over 50 retailer headquarters to develop new strategies
and build business.
During his time working for consumer products companies such as
Chiquita, Heinz and Pure Fishing, David developed significant expertise at
developing high impact shopper marketing initiatives that win the shopper
purchase decision. His skill at developing and executing integrated B2C
and C2B multichannel initiatives across both digital and brick and mortar
retailing has consistently delivered double-digit growth for consumer brand
teams and their retail partners.
Outside of business, David is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts
of America and serves on the Executive Board for the Indian Waters Boy Scout
Council in Columbia, SC and the Boy Scout National Fishing Committee.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Purdue
University and earned his MBA at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of
Business Administration.
